I began my running journey when I was 12, mostly enjoying the prizes for placing in races. From there, I took my love of running to high school and participated in both track and cross country. After that, I ran off and on throughout college, then picked it up again on a very regular basis after the birth of my first child. In 2011 I ran my first half marathon, thinking I would only do one. Since then I have completed 6 half marathons, ran as a pacer in one half marathon, and registered for my first marathon, to be ran in November of 2019! As I go along my running journey, I am trying my best to raise my three children with a healthy example by staying fit and reaching my goals. Prioritizing such goals can be challenging as I also work full time outside the home. I really like to talk about pretty much anything, but running is my favorite!
